2600, also known as the Hacker's
Quarterly, is an international publication dwelving in the topics of
hacking, phreaking, social engineering, and other subjects of interest
to a technically-minded audience.
2600 Ottawa is the local non-sanctionned chapter of this publication.
Each month, people from all over the Ottawa-Gatineau region meet up to discuss
and share all matters related to their interests. Topics can range from
debates on cryptographic standards, to the newest exploit, to some really
cool toy you managed to create late last night in your basement.
These meetings are open to everyone, and they are entirely free,
so come on down!
The next meeting is on:
Friday, July 03 2009
@ 6:30PM.
The meetings take place at 7:00PM on the
first Friday of every month. They are held on the second floor of the World
Exchange Plaza, in the food court.
The World Exchange Plaza is situated on the corner of Albert and Metcalfe.
